I was inspired to become a fitness instructor because I felt there was no better way to “exercise” my passions for movement/dancing and leadership than combining the two in this way! The other incredible instructors that welcomed me into the studio when I signed up for my very first class, that later became not just people that I work with but also FRIENDS is another one of many examples of inspiration I had for teaching group fitness classes. Being able to bring together a group of beautiful people for a 45 minute workout that makes them feel connected and proud afterwards is such a wholesome and fulfilling feeling to have.
My favorite part of teaching at Barre Groove is having the opportunity & honor to help foster and lead the same beautiful community of bouncers that inspired me to want to also become a client in the first place and then later on instructor!
Floating Kicks followed by a Double Dip (double bounce)!
You can expect a cheerful, energizing, 2000’s vibe in my playlists!
My favorite way to unwind after a class, specifically a night class, is by having a Yasso frozen yogurt bar and foam rolling!
A smile goes a long way here at Barre Groove. Not only do the classes thrive off of high energy and pump-up music, they also are as enjoyable as they are because of the passionate and positive community that occupies the trampolines – even if a movement feels tricky, smiling at yourself in the mirror and your fellow squad regardless helps you all to feel so joyful and confident while you all get through the workout as a team!
I’ve gone to 6 Pitbull concerts because he is so iconic…
Exhilarated!
