Q: How do I sign up?

A: You can sign up at BarreGroove.com/Subscribe

Once you sign up, enter your payment info and press purchase to start your free 7 day trial! If you cancel during the trial, you will not be billed.

Q: Is it easy to cancel my subscription?

A: You can cancel at any time and it’s simple!

1. Go to BarreGroove.com/OnDemand

2. Login (or press the circle in the top right of the platform)

3. Press “Purchases”

4. Press the 3 dots on the row that has your subscription

5. Press “Cancel”

You will still have access to the platform until your subscription expires. 

Q: How can I update the credit card I use for my subscription?

A: It’s easy to update your card on file!

1. Go to BarreGroove.com/OnDemand

2. Login (or press the circle in the top right of the platform)

3. Press “Account”

4. Press “Payment Methods”

5. Press “Add New”

6. Enter the new card information.

7. Press the down arrow next to the new card and set as default

Once complete, you can also delete the older card.

Q: How long are your virtual classes?

A: About half of our classes are full 45 minute classes and the rest are Express Classes. Express classes are primarily 10 to 15 minutes in length and are condensed versions of our favorite workouts.

If you’re short on time, express classes can help you fit a workout into your schedule. 

Q: How can I search through the library?

A: You can “filters” button to search classes by category (full 45 minute classes or express classes), workout type, body focus, equipment needed, experience level, and class duration. The last button also allows you to filter by class format and instructor.

You can stack as many filters as you want to narrow the classes down to a specific workout.

Q: How do I favorite a class so I can take it again later?

A: Click the class you wish to take and press the “Add to Favorites” button below the feed.

Q: Do I need workout equipment to take virtual classes?

A: The classes are enhanced with equipment, but many of them can be taken with no equipment at all. You may also have great substitutions for equipment in your home and you don’t even realize it! For example, barre classes don’t require a barre- try using a chair. If you don’t have dumbbells, try using a jug of water or canned foods… there are plenty of ways to get the improve your workouts while exercising from home!

Q: What equipment do I need to get the most out of every class?

A: You don’t need fancy workout equipment. If you do want to buy equipment, we recommend a yoga mat, a set of light, medium, and heavy weights, resistance bands, and a personal trampoline will get you through every possible format we teach. You don’t need a specific brand- especially for weights, mats, and bands. Get the gear that suits your fitness level the best.

At the studio, we have dumbbells between 2-5 pounds each, resistance bands (light, medium, strong), and Jump Sport 370 trampolines.

Q: I have never exercised (rebounding) on a trampoline before. What can I expect?

A: You’re going to have a lot of fun!

It’s a fun way to do cardio and help lose weight

Bouncing is unique because it engages your entire body. After just a few minutes of bouncing your body will be sweating and your heart rate will be elevated.

It’s low impact on joints

You don’t need to be a marathon runner to appreciate how hard running can be on your joints- especially your knees! Bouncing on trampolines has been found to eliminate approximately 80% of the impact on your joints compared to traditional running.

It’s an effective complementary workout to running routines

NASA completed a study that found trampoline exercises are up to 68% more effective than jogging.

Q: Is bouncing on a trampoline safe to do during pregnancy?

A: Bouncing on a trampoline is not recommended during pregnancy.

Our official advice is to consult your doctor, but the guidance we have been given is anything that makes you more at risk of falling down should be avoided during pregnancy.

Q: What type of trampolines do you use during class?

A: We’re partnered with JumpSport for the trampolines we use in class. There are lots of celebrities and athletes who use their trampolines. Eva Longoria, Rob Gronkowski, and Camille Kostek just to name a few.

We use JumpSport 370’s in all of our classes at Barre Groove.

Q: Where can I go to purchase a trampoline?

Q: How much weight can the trampolines handle?

A: The trampolines are rated for up to 275 pounds.
