I was inspired by my own progress in class and finally finding a cardio-based workout that I genuinely look forward to — one that leaves me feeling confident and energized every single time. I wanted to share that same love of the studio with others. The instructor squad has always been so welcoming and approachable, and I wanted to contribute to that energy and encourage people to try something new. My motto is “do things that scare you,” and becoming an instructor definitely did — but I’m so grateful I took the leap, because it’s made me stronger in every way.
I love watching clients crack that first smile on the trampoline — whether it’s when I shout them out, they nail a move, or strike a pose. That moment says it all: they’re letting go, having fun, and feeling confident!
My favorite filler is Cheerleader — it’s impossible not to smile during it — and my favorite move is a banded clam shell for that perfect lower-body burn.
Upbeat, girly pop, old-school boy bands, and music that makes you say, “turn this up!” — basically anything that makes you want to dance, sing, and push a little harder.
A bike ride along the Esplanade followed by a homemade salted caramel latte — my favorite little ritual.
Release your inhibitions! One of the best parts of Barre Groove is that everyone starts from the same place — finding their confidence on and off the trampoline. You’ve already done something brave by showing up; now it’s time to let go, laugh, and have fun.
I never took a dance class in my life — and was never an athlete past little league!
