Why did you become an instructor at Barre Groove?

Barre Groove is such a special community. All of the clients and instructors are so supportive, kind and motivating. Once I took my first class here, I knew that I needed to forever be a part of it. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to be an instructor and have loved every second of it! It is such an honor to be able to help motivate our squad on their fitness journeys!

What is your background in fitness and/or dance?

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old! I have tried it all, ballet, hip-hop, and everything in between. I joined the dance team at UNH, Go Cats!, where I was a captain my junior and senior year. I have always had a passion for movement and fitness and love that I get to continue living that passion by teaching at Barre Groove.

What motivates you as an instructor?

The clients! Our BG squad is truly the best I have ever experienced. You all push me to find new and creative ways to deliver the best classes that I can.

What type of music will we hear in your classes?

Oh you will hear just about everything in my classes – hip-hop, rap, a little disco, and a lot of remixes. I try to sprinkle a little something for everyone in there. Expect some fast beats and a good time!
