Why did you become an instructor at Barre Groove?

There is truly nothing like a Barre Groove workout! I fell in love with every format from day 1 and just knew I had to make it an even bigger part of my life. Being a part of this team has become one of the best opportunities I could have ever asked for.

What is your background in fitness and/or dance?

I have always had a passion for fitness and have been a dancer my entire life. Initially when I found Barre Groove as a client it was a way to connect both of my passions and relive the glory days of being on my competitive college dance team- I could not get enough of the POM classes! The atmosphere and comradery were unlike any other group fitness class I had experienced before and I knew I wanted to be a part of the squad one day. Fast forward a few years later and I am so excited to bring my passion for Barre Groove classes to you all as an instructor.

What motivates you as an instructor?

Seeing how truly excited BG clients are to be a part of the squad and their level of enthusiasm after class is over motivates me to want to get better for them each day and give my classes 110% every time I am teaching. Nothing fuels my fire more than seeing other people enjoy themselves; especially in a fitness setting.

What type of music will we hear in your classes?

I love a good throwback jam that everyone can sing along with and say “OMG I forgot how much I love this song”. Also Beyonce and Britney will always have a spot on my playlists.
