We’ve reimagined the barre experience with our signature Bounce & Barre class. All of the barre essentials harmoniously paired with fun, low-impact cardio on the trampoline, culminating in the best barre workout ever.

Bounce & Barre is where it all began, the cornerstone of our bounce formats. If you’re stepping into a Barre Groove class for the first time, this is your ultimate starting point.

Class Highlights:

Format: 50% Barre, 50% Bounce

Equipment: Trampoline + Weights

Length: 45 minutes

Attire: A quality sports bra and sneakers for trampoline work.

What to Expect:

Prepare for a fun and engaging class where modifications are introduced at the start. Experience a beat-driven, dance-inspired workout designed to flow seamlessly, creating a continuous dance-like experience. Throughout the session, you’ll alternate between on and off the trampoline, engaging in low-impact cardio bursts. The maximum consecutive time on the trampoline is capped at 10 minutes.

This class really utilizes the trampoline—expect planks, core exercises, and standing thigh and seat work. The trampoline transforms into a barre for standing thigh and seat work, offering a head-to-toe workout that strengthens and lengthens the body.

This class brings you the “low impact” cardio missing from traditional barre workouts, fused with your beloved barre exercises and techniques. The unique structure includes 10 minutes of bounce at a time, effectively elevating your heart rate and priming your body for the sculpt work that follows.

Barre groove is such a great way to work out. It's always so much fun that you don't realize you're working out. There are two studios: downtown and lululemon Newbury. The downtown studio is older and does not have the amenities that the lululemon location has (such as showers, hair dryers). They have various class formats and have classes throughout the day, so you can easily work them into your schedule. The instructors have different playlists for each class, and they incorporate new moves all the time, so classes never get stale. The instructors and staff are all amazing, and the environment is so positive, fun, and uplifting.

i highly recommend barre groove + its one-of-a-kind workout that is fun + full of energy. it is one of my favorite barre classes in boston with great music + friendly instructors.

Barre Groove is hands down one of the best and one of my favorite workouts in Boston. It’s high energy, up beat and just is fun. It hardly feels like a workout (in the best ways) with the music and energy of the room. Until the next day when your muscles are sore and you know you got a good workout in.

You need to try Barre Groove! 🤩 every class is a party, each bounce format gives you a different workout and every instructor challenges you with their own style and different routines, which is great because you never get bored with the same thing. All of them are amazing and keep you motivate the entire class. Bouncing never was so easy until I tried these classes 😃

I go to the LuluLemon studio (never been downtown), but the studio is lovely, clean, and always a great workout! The classes are always so fun and there's a lot of tailoring/options to make it as intense as you'd like. The instructors are fantastic with their demonstrations (working out at the same time in the front of the class). The showers and amenities are fantastic as well.

Barre Groove has transformed my outlook on exercise as a working professional! Now that I am part of the BG Squad I actually look forward to waking up early before work to get moving to keep my body healthy. Working out used to be a chore, but now when I attend any class at BG I feel like I am actually doing something fun. The classes are the perfect length (45min) for those who like high intensity interval cardio and muscle toning workouts. Since starting at BG, I have more energy outside of the studio at work and feel all around stronger both mentally and physically. Barre Grove is the perfect environment for people looking for a fun, judge free zone to get their workout in!

I often have to force myself to go to traditional gym classes. I'm so glad I found Barre Groove. The high energy trampoline classes are so much fun! I actually look forward to going to class!
