Why did you become an instructor at Barre Groove?

I started going to Barre Groove when Alanna brought it to The grand for the club classes. I immediately fell in love with everything about Barre Groove. The girls, the tramps and all the classes they had to offer. For a while I could never see myself in front on a microphone teaching a class, going there more often gave me such confidence I never knew I had. I love going in and teaching and seeing the smiles on people’s faces making them feel better about themselves and having a good time. If the hour they are in my class is the highlight of their day that makes me so happy and i can’t wait to keep teaching.

What is your background in fitness and/or dance?

I have danced and cheered all my life. In the past few years I have really fallen in love with fitness, mentally and physically it makes me feel so good.

What motivates you as an instructor?

Barre Groove is like no other workout class I have been to. I also looked up to instructors and knew I would also love to teach. I love making people smile and feel good about themselves and I feel like that’s exactly what being an instructor can do.

What type of music will we hear in your classes?

I love pop, and I’ll sprinkle some country remixes in there!
