What is your background in fitness?
I started dancing at the exciting age of two and grew to dance competitively and professionally at a young age. With a passion for sharing my love of dance, I started teaching at the age of 15. I continued my professional dancing career and landed a position as a New England Patriots Cheerleader where I met our squad leader, Alanna. I was beyond excited when Alanna opened Barre Groove and I knew I needed to join the squad. I have been with Barre Groove since September of 2018.
What motivates you as a fitness instructor at BG?
The BG squad! Our clients are all so amazing and we share a bond, like no other. While I may be motivating you because I’m the one with the microphone, you give off an energy that pushes me even harder. That push helps us grow together and it is so special to see someone transform in front of your eyes. Whether it be strength, confidence, or sassiness, it brings me so much joy to see it and be right there with you.
Describe yourself as an instructor in ONE word…
SASSY! Aka.. Sassy Cas 🙂
What type of music will we hear in your classes?
I love to play up-beat new, popular songs but will slide in a few throwbacks that’ll bring a smile to your face
What’s your “go-to” drink order?
A big glass of Cabernet
When I’m not teaching at the studio I’m…
Monday – Friday, 9-5, you will find me in the Marketing department of a Commercial Real Estate firm in downtown Boston. And on the weekends, when I’m not in the studio or at The Grand with the squad, I love to go home to Connecticut to visit my family.
If you were stranded on an island and could only bring one piece of fitness equipment what would it be…
Trampoline – definitely. But can I bring the DJ from The Grand too?!
If I had to give myself a superlative it would be…
Most likely to get fast food after a class (I’ll take a #1 meal with a diet coke, hold the pickles)
